Unfortunately, my students are in a district where we are not as lucky. However, I have tried blogging with my sixth grade students on a smaller level. I absolutely love the guideposts and etiquette that were included. I had noticed my first time around, my students really do not understand the difference between "text lingo" and proper English, or when to use caps lock and when it's not necessary. I definitely feel that next year, I need to put much more effort into teaching the proper etiquette. Out of curiosity, how would student created blogs and responses be assessed? Another four have done a blogging co-op and stuck with it. That was my thought on a public and semi-public space. I think it's a powerful platform and I think their unique perspective makes a huge difference.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10956056168256756705noreply@blogger.com
